Milkwood Shiraz Viognier

Savour the unique flavours of the Cape coastal region with each sip of our Milkwood Shiraz. Bright cherry and red berry aromas lead into a generous palate of plums and cherries, balanced with notes of leather and cigar box. The tannins are firm and the wine has a long finish. Best enjoyed with filet mignon, beef Carpaccio or pan-seared duck breast.

Made in a Côte Rôtie style from 96% Shiraz and 4% Viognier grapes sourced from three distinct vineyards in the Swartland and Paarl regions. This wine pays homage to the Cape Milkwood (Sideroxylon inerme) tree, which are indigenous to the coastal woodlands, protected and can grow to a great age.
